September 11, 2001 when the world was halted! I write this story every year on the day of September 11, 2001, when our lives and every body else changed for ever. The moment my phone rang in our apartment at KFUPM, University of Petroleum and Minerals in Saudi Arabia, where my husband lectured, is for ever ingrained in my memory. It was about 5 pm local time, I was working on my long distant studies for interior design and our friend Connie H. called, asking if I was watching television. I wasn’t! The only international TV station we had was CNN. I turned on the TV watched in terror when the second plane hit the second tower and shortly thereafter one tower crumbled and collapsed followed by the second tower. I also watched people jumping from the buildings (100 story high) to their deaths so not to burn alive. That event was followed with an enormous plume of smoke and debris traveling down the streets of Manhattan, people running for their lives, falling and being tended to by the tireless New York fire fighters. 3000 + people died including many of the first respondents and many international visitors, that are typically in New York City at any given time. That was enough: than came other pictures on the screen: The cash of United 93 in Shanksville, PA, and another one that hit the Pentagon. To push forward: Then president George W. Bush went after the terrorists, 19 of whom were from Saudi Arabia, who trained in various flight schools including one in Tucson or nearby. Going forward: the wars went on; we did find the instigator, Osama Bin Laden, a Saudi national, shunned by his family, the 49th of 50 children, lived in Afghanistan. We caught most of the “planners’ of this horrific attack on our freedom and opened Guantanamo Bay prison to house for the rest of their lives. Joe Biden will be a president, going down in history, who made all the tragic losses, the work that was done and the country that was safe until now, 20 years later, inutile, worthless and worse, he gave Afghanistan and the Taliban, who house most of the terrorists that were involved, in Afghanistan, everything: A country from which they can operate their evil work, billions of dollars in army gear, helicopters, armory and more! Not to forget that he made Afghanistan now the country of the worst hostage crisis, America has seen. The bastards, who were the brains behind the 9/11 attacks, and are sitting in jail in Guantanamo, will all have to be released in order to comply with Allah’s students, the ‘Taliban”s requests. TREASON ON A GRAND LEVEL HAVE BEEN COMMITTED IN THIS COUNTRY BY THE CURRENT PRESIDENT AND HIS MILITARY ADVISORS. I DON’T HAVE TO EXPRESS, WHAT SHOULD HAPPEN TO TRAITORS.
