In my opinion, as an American immigrant, we have a LOT to be thankful for, considering what people of other countries have to endure. I am personally thankful, that we have Donald Trump as our President in the hope that the damages, done by the previous administrations, can still be rectified. After 40 years in America, I am at a total loss to comprehend the attitudes of a considerable number of Americans, born here or having enjoyed their life in a free country, could be so terribly divided, hateful toward one another and basically ignorant, simply for the fact that Donald Trump was not their choice. Considering that life here on earth is but a split of a second compared with the enormity of the universe, we are causing a lot of pain to each other and FOR WHAT?

It will be over some day, that is the only certainty.
